Lyomyces denudatus, a new species with a disjunct distribution

چکیده
We describe a new corticioid species Lyomyces denudatus based on morphological and molecular data (nuc rDNA ITS). It occurs both in the extreme south of South America New Zealand. Our phylogenetic analyses place it near L. densiusculus from Africa fimbriatus East Asia. In addition, we comment status leptocystidiatus fumosus.

Phylogeography and divergence date estimates of a lichen species complex with a disjunct distribution pattern.
Disjunct species distributions may result from a combination of geologic events and long-distance dispersal. The foliose lichen species complex Leptogium furfuraceum-L. pseudofurfuraceum has an intercontinental disjunction pattern. Populations of this species complex are found in western North America, southern South America, Africa, and southern Europe. We conducted a phylogenetic study to rec...

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

Three species of the genus Xylaria (Xylariaceae) are presented based on collections from Guilan Province, Iran. Both morphological and molecular characteristics were used in order to identify these species. Xylaria longissima sp. nov. is described and illustrated as a new Xylaria species and X. cf. striata and X. xylarioides are reported as new records from Iranian mycobiota. Xylaria longissima...

A new species from Iran is described and illustrated here as Kickxia iranica (Plantaginaceae). Kickxia iranica is morphologically similar to K. commutata, a species native to Mediterranean region, however it can be distinguished from the latter by leaf shape, color of corolla, habit, stem branching and length of leaf, petiole, pedicel and corolla. Notes on its distribution, ecology and phenolog...
